My name is Philippa La Mar, LMHC, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor working with individuals addressing substance abuse recovery and mental health such as Anxiety, Depression, Bi-Polar, Substance Use Disorders, and other mental health disorders.
I use several different approaches of therapy such as Person Centered Therapy, (PCT) Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Delectable Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and other therapies to assist client’s with their mental health. I believe in helping clients working on addressing their mental health at a level they are comfortable at, therapy is a process, it takes time and trust. I am cultural competent with working with clients who come from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. I am someone who believes in meeting client’s where they are. I will do my best to assist you with working with healing for yourself, addressing your mental health goals.
