Katherine H. Clark, Psy.D.

Katherine H. Clark, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist. After earning her B.A. in psychology at SUNY Cortland she went on to earn her doctoral degree from Hofstra University which features a dual school and community psychology program. Dr. Clark has over 10 years providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience in a variety of clinical settings such as schools, residential treatment facilities, community mental health centers, private practice, and rehabilitation/long-term care facilities. She works with individuals presenting with diverse needs including those experiencing anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, relationship and career difficulties, divorce/separation, major life changes, school/college transitions and supporting those looking to learn new parenting techniques/skills. With her background in psychoeducational assessment and consultation within school settings, she works extensively to support families with children experiencing home and/or school-based challenges including: learning difficulties, ADHD, school anxiety/refusal, executive function processing concerns, and emotional dysregulation difficulties/behavioral difficulties. She also has a passion for supporting new mothers as they navigate the stressors of new parenthood.

Although primarily trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dr. Clark utilizes a range of therapeutic techniques grounded in supportive psychotherapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Positive Psychology interventions. Dr. Clark considers herself a lifelong learner as she continues to expand her therapeutic tools and incorporates additional holistic strategies into practice. Dr. Clark has also served as an adjunct professor at St. John Fisher College and has a passion for providing psychoeducation infused within the therapeutic process. Dr. Clark will support you as you uncover your personal strengths and develop positive life changes to bring a further experience of overall wellness.

Her favorite things include: spending quality time with her husband and 3 children, yoga, reading, attempting to bake, and COFFEE!
